Web Hosting
I’m delighted to announce a new service offering from Moore Consulting - web hosting.
I was becoming increasingly unhappy with my old host’s erratic ways, and also finding that dealing with a range of different hosts for clients time-consuming and unsatisfactory.
Clients would pay for their hosting, but then also have to pay for my time to fix problems and chase down answers from less than responsive support staff, or struggle through a complicated control panel to do something simple..
Or I’d find clients just paying way too much for mediocre service - Network Solutions, I’m looking at you.
The solution - do it yourself
So I’m now offering a solution - hosting with Moore Consulting. I’ve secured a large amount of server space with a very reputable hosting company, to be used only for my own sites, and those of my clients.
Each client gets their own control panel access and login, for times when they want to make simple changes themselves, but they also get me checking everything’s working well, and available for any issues that come up.
So rather than paying hosting fees, and then paying me for support, this way I come as part of the package, with a service that’s more reliable and easier to use anyway.
How much?
The cost depends on your requirements, but in many cases the fees will be the same as your current host, and I’ll move your domain for free. Now I’m running the show, I can make sure you get the package you need - whether that’s more bandwidth and less storage space, vice versa, or tons of both.
I’m not becoming a hosting company for everyone, though. This service is only available to Moore Consulting clients, to make their hosting experience match their site building one.
