New site for Santa Fe Partners in Education
Thursday, March 05, 2009
I’m happy to announce the launch of one of our most recent sites - for the non-profit Partners in Education Foundation for the Santa Fe Public Schools.
The site, like most we work on, is a custom design built on top of the Wordpress content management system. This means Partners in Education get exactly the look and feel they want, but they can also update pages and add news stories themselves.
Extra Functionality
In addition to information and news, they also wanted the site to improve their application process for grants and transportation.
Using the cost-effective and easy to implement form-creation service from Wufoo, we built them custom forms so teachers can submit applications online.
Partners in Education also wanted to accept online donations, using the Network For Good service, so we integrated that function into the site too.
Result
The result is a clean and easy to navigate site that is straightforward for the clients to update themselves. The site also helps Partners in Education do away with paper forms, making it easier to raise funds and carry out their chief purpose: providing ways to achieve creative, cost-effective and innovative solutions to educational problems in Santa Fe.
