Revamped Sitaram site launched

We’re proud to announce we’ve just completed a comprehensive revamp of the site for the Sitaram Partnership yoga centre in London. Their original site (which we also built) had been performing very well for them, but as the activities of the organisation expanded, as well as the number and location of the classes they offered, it was time for a major overhaul.
The new version offers a much clearer schedule, expanded teacher training section and a new design.
Built entirely using CSS for layout and positioning, the site is much faster than the original version, which used graphics for navigation. The site also degrades well in older browsers and offers much greater accessibility for users with disabilities.
Finally, the news and events section is powered using a free open-source content management system, making it much easier for Sitaram staff to keep the site up to date. Entering new stories is a simple as sending an email - all formatting, archiving and date-stamping is done automatically. In addition, the top stories are automatically pulled to the homepage, making sure the most recent news is always clearly displayed.
‘We’re very happy with new site, and are getting lots of positive feedback from visitors,’ said Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, co-founder of the centre that focuses on hypnotherapy, baby yoga and yoga for pregnancy. ‘Its design reflects the feel of the centre, and people find the site very easy to use.’
