Three site and a vacation
Wednesday, May 07, 2008
May already? I wanted to cover for how quiet it’s been recently on this site by explaining some of what I’ve been up to.
Planning and building sites, mainly. And then taking a much-needed but not actually that restful trip to Ireland and Italy. I’ll post on each of the new sites in more detail soon, but here’s the concise version of the site launches.

As the lack of posts here indicates - January has been very busy here in MC towers. So busy that we’re looking for help:
We’re looking for a web developer to help with production on a range of client projects.
Work is by contract on a project-by-project basis, but ideally this could work out as a long-term arrangement. You’d work at your place, but come into the office (downtown) for meetings every so often (if you live in Santa Fe). If you’re a great candidate but live in Ballygobackwards or somewhere even more exotic, let me know and we’ll see if we can do some telecommuting magic).
Most of the work would be building pages on new sites and making changes to existing client sites. At least initially, attention to detail and HTML knowledge are more important than design flair - although if you’re a great designer too, that would be great.

Duckbell.com - my new photography blog
Wednesday, December 26, 2007
I’ve just launched Duckbell.com - my new blog aimed at serious amateur photographers.
As photography becomes a more important part of my business (and my out-of-hours life), I thought there was a need for a photography blog that gathered the best news around the web, and added well-written tutorials and analysis.
It’s nice to have a project of my own to work on going into the new year, and it allows me try out some approaches and techniques that will benefit my clients too.
If you’re interested in photography, please check it out. And if you know someone who just got a digital camera for Christmas, please send them along too.
